Page Options
- Activation: From the initial page list, select "Activate" or "Deactivate" under the "Active?" heading to either show or not show that page. If the page is deactivated, all of your content will remain, but the page will simply not be visible to customers. (The page will not be permanently deleted.) When someone tries to access that page, they will get a file not found error.
- Link Order: If you wish to change the order in which the links appear in your navigation bar on your site, use the up and down arrow keys to change the order of the pages.
- Editing Page Content: Edit any page`s content by selecting the page you want to edit and clicking the "Edit" link. Update the field values and save your changes. The page you update will automatically be changed on your site.
- Adding New Pages: You can add unlimited additional pages through the system, by clicking the Add New Page link. These pages will use the same site design as your other pages, so there`s no need to modify the page design for the page. Just enter the title, content, page name (minus the extension) and other fields as desired (see above). Click Add to save the page. New pages are automatically displayed on the site.

Page list - Add or Edit?
System Pages - can not be deleted but can be edited ( system pages won't have the "delete" link , only an edit link ). Highlighted green in the above image.
Created pages - these are pages you have added to the system. You can Delete/Edit/deactivate/activate these as needed. Highlighted red in the above image
Actived Pages - these are active pages in your store, they will be linked ( 1 ) and will have the deactivate ( 2 ) option available. You can edit these. Some are system pages and can not be deleted but all can be edited.
Inavtive pages - are not linked ( 3 ) and have the option for you to activate ( 4 ) You can still edit these. Some are system pages and can not be deleted but all can be edited.
The only pages you won't have the ability to deactivate are the index.htm and catalog.htm.
(5) Add New Page - the link to add a new page. Highlighted blue in the image above
Adding a New Page
(1) Give your page a name - name your page.
• Don't use spaces or symbols.
• Once you have saved your new page DO NOT rename it.
• If you have to change the name for any reason ( noticed that you misspelled it, want something more discriptive..etc ) you will have to create a whole new page and delete the one no longer needed.
(2) Show Title? - Do you want the whatever you enter into the Page Title field to show at the top of your page content? Select "Tes" to have the title show, select "No" to only have the page content show.
(3) Active - Will this page be active and available to your visitors? Select "Yes" if you want this page to be active, "No" if you want it unavailable. Reasons you might set it to not be active would be if you start to create a page but for some reason can't finish it - set the activedrop down to "No" and you can come back to it but your visitors won't see a half finished page. Set to "No" the page will not be available to anyone. If you want to be able to see the page but don't the visitors to see it until you're ready a better option would be to set the "Show Link" to "No" instead and leave this page as active.
(4) Show Link? - This allows you to choose whether a link to this page will be available to your visitors. Setting this to "yes" will automatically put a link to it in your site's navigation menu. Reasons you might set this to "no" would be if you want a *hidden* page...a page that you can still access, but a link to it won't be anywhere on your site. Please note that if you choose No it will also NOT be crawled by search engines (for 2.62 version users)
(5) Page Title - This is the description that will appear in the navigation links (if "Show Link" is set to "Yes") as well as the top of the page (if "Show Title" is set to "Yes"). Try to make it only a word or two because it will be what's in the menu and too many words will make the link long and possibly *wrap* around to the next line below.
(6) Nav Image ( optional ) - If you want to display a button image instead of a text link (if you are using text link navigation types), click the Upload link to load an image. You can also add a second image for a mouseover effect, if desired.
(7) Header Image ( optional ) - If you want to display an image at the top of the page, in place of the page title, click the Upload link to load an image. This image will only display if the "Show Title" field is set to "Yes".
(8) Content - Enter your text and/or images as you would like it to appear.
(1) Meta Title: If you want to specify a meta title for this page, enter it here. If you leave this field blank, the system will use the default meta titles specified in the settings.
(2) Meta Keywords: If you want to specify meta keywords for this page, enter them here, listed with commas or spaces between each word or phrase. If you leave this field blank, the system will use the default meta keywords specified in the settings.
(3) Meta Description: If you want to specify a meta description for this page, enter it here. If you leave this field blank, the system will use the default meta description specified in the settings.
(4) Show Products: On the home page and catalog page, you can show product categories or a few products. These will display just under the page content. You may display new products (items entered most recently, according to the date field), featured products (if you have some selected) or sale products (items with a sale price). You may also display a list of categories in a single column, in three columns or five columns. If you do not wish to display either products or category lists, select "No Display".
(5) Page Groupings: To display only a specific group of pages in any given navigation area, select a group or groups here. You can then set your template to only show pages within group 1, group 2, group 3, group 4 or group 5. Note that all pages can be set in any of these groups, allowing you to display links in multiple navigation areas.
(6) Optional Theme: If you want to use a different theme for this page, and themes are available, you can select a new theme from the list to override the default theme.
