Images

In the image maintenance area, you will be able to upload new images and delete images no longer in use.

Select "Update" under "Catalog Images" to view all the catalog images in your web site. These include images such as your site logo, order and search buttons, and header or navigation graphics for featured and sale items.

Main Image area page

Viewing - Uploading - Deleting Image on General Image Directory

If all of your site images (catalog thumbnails, catalog larger images, navigation buttons and general images) are in the same directory, you can select the `Show Images` button to view the images in your site. If your site images are in different directories, first choose the directory that contains the images you wish to view, and select the `Show Images` button to view just the images in that directory.

If you wish to delete an image, click the `DEL` next to the image name. You will be asked to confirm the deletion. Select `Yes` to permanently delete the image from your server. Deleting an image will delete any references to that image from within your database. However, it will not delete all references in HTML templates, pop up pages, or site pages. So you may have image breaks if you delete an image. If you are not sure whether you can safely delete any image, please check with your administrator.

To upload an image, click the `Browse` button next to the `Add New Image` field. Select the image you would like to upload, and click `Add` to load the image. After loading, you will see the image name in your list, and know that image is available for use on your site.

To view any image, click the name of the image to open a pop up window with the image in it. Close the pop up after you are finished viewing the image.
