Setup Paypal

1. Log in to your PayPal account

2. Click "Profile" link

-Select the "Website Payment Preferences" link

-Select the "On" button in the "Auto Return" section

-In the "Return URL" field enter the page url - http://yoursite.com/pages/thankyou.php (replacing the yoursite.com with your actual site)

-Save the Website Payment Preferences at the bottom of the page

3. Still under Profiles find the link for Instant Payment Notification Preferences.

-Check the box

-Enter your domain name in the box as so: http://yoursite.com (replacing the yoursite.com with your actual site)

-Click on Save

 

4. Still under Profiles, go to Website Payment Preferences.

 

Scroll down until you see:  "PayPal Account Optional".

 

- Choose 'On'

 

-Click on Save

 

This allows people to pay you with a credit card ot e-check without having to have a PayPal account.

 

Once you have updated your accounts, when a customer makes a purchase and pays via PayPal, they will automatically be taken to the Mals-E cart finish page, or to your thank you page if they didn't go through Mals to purchase your products.
