Which Package is Best for You? TOP
If you are starting with only one web site, then most likely the Basic packages is perfect. We are conservative in saying that you can have over 800 items. There are those with plenty more! You can upgrade anytime.
If you have multiple sites to move to MerchantMoms, or anticipate that you will be opening more than one soon, then the Pro is a better choice.
What is your uptime? TOP
We can proudly say that we have 99.9% uptime.
The packages contain the latest versions of standard web technologies
such as PHP and MySQL, ample space and bandwidth, a control panel and store administration to
easily work with your site. All housed on Linux machines running the
Apache server software for security and reliability. Our servers are
constantly monitored to ensure they are never
overloaded. You can rest assured that your space in cyberspace is a
safe and happy haven to be in.
We support PHP, Perl, mySQL, SSI, JavaScript, and more. We do NOT support ASP or Access databases.
Do I need to Transfer my Domain to you? TOP
Not at all. You can simply update the name servers at the registrar of your choice (ie GoDaddy, etc). On your order, you will choose the radio button "I will update my name servers" (and, of course, we'll help you with that if you aren't sure how to do it)
How Soon Can I Start? TOP
All accounts are setup automatically after payment has been received.
If you purchased your domain through us then it will also be live
immediately. If you registered your domain name elsewhere then it can
take up to 48 hours for your name servers to be propagate after the change, although most
registrars can do it in a matter of a few hours.
Do I have to Wait for my Template Designer TOP
Not at all, you can get started adding your Pages, Categories and Products right away. The template just pops right in without disturbing what you have already done.

Merchant Moms can assist you with your new web site.
To begin a website you will need a domain name. Merchant Moms can
purchase a domain name for you at the cost of $11.75. If you prefer to
purchase your domain name elsewhere, we recommend Go Daddy.
You will also need website hosting. If you decide to join Merchant Moms we will be your web site hosting company.
We provide the web site builder with ecommerce in our hosting package so that you can create the site yourself online, or have a template designer assist you in the initial design and you can add your own products and pages to it.
What Software Do I Need? TOP
The system works entirely through your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox) on both PC's and MAC's. We do recommend Firefox, as the Safari browser isn't completely compatible.
I have a web site I really like, can MerchantMoms be integrated? TOP
We will be happy to take a look at your site. After
we have seen your site we can give you a price quote for integration
and a time frame for delivery.
