Hi,
I replied to your support desk ticket but will reply here too. The site should be up and ready - you'll have to use the IP address listed in the welcome email until the domain name propagates. The welcome email went to the address you signed up with .

On the templates - each designer has different turnaround times which are usually posted on their site. If you don't see the turnaround time on the site though you can drop them a line to see how long it would be to install the template.

Thanks!

Hi, I have just gone through 2 web hosts (the first one my boss chose - I hated it)  The second one I chose because I thought it would have a better builder with more options and I absolutely hated it after just two days, cancelled it last night and decided on Merchant Moms based on some intense research last night.
I just paid for the domain name and hosting and both status's say "pending".  What I'd like to know is:
1.) how soon can I start working on the site?
2.) how long does it usually take for a ready made template from one of the providers listed to be integrated by MM?
and I guess that's it for now.
Thanks so much and everyone who wrote a review of Merchant Moms, thank you also, those were extremely helpful.

Hi,
If you're using the MM system you would still need to set up Mal's so that orders/payments are passed on to Paypal. I hope that helps

Hi, sorry another silly Q. Just reading about Mals, etc. I only want to accept Paypal payments, can I do just that, or do I still have to set up Mals cart, etc. (Sorry don't really understand it.)

Hi, I am new here, and apologise in advance for my inexperience.
I am looking to set up an e-shop, and have stumbled across your site. Just a couple of questions, if someone could please help:
1. I am based in the UK, would that be a problem at all? Is there any benefit to having a site hosting within the UK for me.
2. I am looking for a basic package, whereby I could list maybe 150 items, can I do that with the basic package? (I have been looking on a few sites, and one says I may need the middle package, and pay to "add-on" a shop. If so, could you direct me where I could find the prices for that.
3. Is there a trial period at all? If I could have the package I need, I would be happy to pay the year upfront after I can just trial to see the templates, and how easy it would be. (I am not very tech savy!  Huh?)
4. With the templates, can I design, edit, and upload my logo etc myself, or do I need to then pay for one of the designers on your site to do it for me.
Once again, sorry that these are very basic questions, but just want to be sure that I am buying something which will do what I would like it to do. Many thanks. Smiley

Just a blog, with something like WordPress (that's what most use)  is only $4.95/mo.   You of course would be doing the content, we would install the software.

If you meant an ecommerce site like tiffanyjewelrys.us.com, then that ranges from $15/mo to $30/mo depending on the software you choose.   The Demo on the main merchantmoms sites shows both.

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is needed to get set up? I'm assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I'm not very web savvy so I'm not 100% positive. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
